Fonseca Guimaraens, often simply called Fonseca, is one of the largest Port wine houses in Portugal. Fonseca has announced that it will release a Guimaraens 2018 Vintage Port, the first bottling under the Guimaraens label since 2015. Fonseca declares 2017 Vintage 23 April 2019 Fonseca has announced that it has declared 2017 as a classic vintage. Today Guimaraens Vintage Ports are made in years when the wines are more supple and early maturing and Fonseca in vintages producing bigger, more long lasting Ports. Guimaraens Vintage Ports nevertheless share the origins, heritage and complex fruity style of the classic Fonseca vintages and are drawn from the produce of the same three estates. The Guimaraens 2013 displays the opulent fruit character which defines the Fonseca house style. The nose opens with a surge of powerful woodland aroma, rich and succulent but not over-ripe.

The palate is sweet and fleshy on the entry with  Luxury department store, Harvey Nichols, offers designer fashion, beauty, food & wine both online and in-store including Knightsbridge, Leeds & Edinburgh.
